Castlewood Canyon

So Lianna and I decided we needed to get out and enjoy summer. Its pretty hard for us to have coinciding days off, but twice a month, it so happens that we have a day off on Saturday together. So we packed up Teo and some water, and off we went to a place called Castlewood Canyon. It isn't in the mountains, but its near Elizabeth and Franktown, a beautiful part of Colorado. It wasn't much of a hike per se. It was more like a nature walk, but we loved it and so did Teo. Teo especially loved the water.

Heres a picture at the bottom of the canyon.

Isn't Lianna and Teo SO cute!
Tree. Neat.

Teo must have gotten quite hot because toward the end of the walk, whenever we'd pass a shady spot, he'd plop right down and rest.

And here is Teo frolicking in the water. He was so hot he even decided he'd just lay in the water for a bit.

He must have been hot--that water doesn't look very refreshing to me! But I guess it was wet. Pretty place.

Oh to be a dog and just be able to lay down in the water when you get hot!
