It's a Boy!

We are so excited to announce a new member of our family!

Hair: Black and Blonde

Eyes: Brown

Name: Teomner Arii Quillen

Weight: 46 lbs

Age: 1 year (give or take)

We have officially adopted a dog! Therefore, our house is officially a mess. We (by we, here, i mean mostly JD and a little bit me) were pining for a little furry companion of our own because, basically, we were looking into the face of a beautiful and very lonely summer when we brought the family dog whom we were caring for back to the family home. And who doesn't want a living being to love and enjoy warm weather with?

So, after weeks of research, JD popped into the Denver Dumb Friends League and called me to tell me he found 2 possible furry friends.

Exhibit A) Mario: (pronounced may-ree-oh) a Lost and Found miniature pinscher who is scared of loud noises and also readily responds to the name Tom, inexplicably. ( though I'm not sure why I'd expect anything about him to be explained, since no one knows his previous history..)

Exhibit B) Bill Jack: (which degenerated into Ajax very quickly for me) a Lost and Found Australian Cattle Dog/ German Shepard mix who is very playful and friendly although a little bigger than we'd wanted (by we, here, i mean me because i don't want a dog who is bigger than me).

Our choice - Bill "Ajax" Jack. He has taken to JD - it could be said that while he doesn't DISLIKE me, he is certainly not as enthused about my existence as he is about JD.

It turns out that he is a VERY smart, playful, friendly to people and dogs, loves to chew things, especially if they squeak and is basically an ideal adopt-a-situation.
