So, my family had a brush with death, at church. These photos were taken at church. Our cars suffered lots o' hail damage, as you could imagine. Primary kids were crying, adults were running around, ushering people into the gym, others were praying.... total pandemonium.... and my wife runs outside to go take pictures of her first tornado. (These pictures were actually taken by my dad, since Verizon's network sucks for sending pictures and we can't get them off her phone.)

For those of you who can't understand my stories...
I did not find my wallet... but I bought a new one. =) Anyway, if you love us, you will follow our blog. You CLICK on the FOLLOW button to the right of the page.
Additionally, I will eventually blog about a dream that I had last night involving midgets with roman broadswords, navy seals, young, beautiful women on a pilgrimage, a volcano cult, and a BYU special police force. Sweet.

Wallet is FOUND!
So guess what? On Saturday night, I found my wallet... Yup, I found it! Four times actually. Then I woke up and realized that it was just a dream. Oh well such is life.
So Saturday, I'll let you all know that I was pretty stressed out about losing my wallet, partly because I figured that I just placed it somewhere odd. Then I'd find it, out in the open, plain and simple. I kept praying and had a good feeling about it. So I figured, "What the heck, why am I not finding it."
After I had come to the conclusion that I would not find my wallet, and that it was most likely lost at the movie theater, I prayed. and an interesting and funny thought came into my head:
"Well, at least you didn't lose your soul. Aren't you glad you don't need an ID to get into Heaven."
I think Heavenly Father has a great sense of humor. If you look at your problems in life with an eternal perspective, they always just seem so trivial and funny. With that I pretty much knew that it was gone, and there's no sense in crying over spilled milk. So I got over it, made plans to replace everything, and got on with my life. Such is life.

If you were a wallet, where would you hide?
Ah, it is beautiful here ... warm, or hot, and sometimes rainy. yay! My sister may come to visit this week, or the 2nd week in June.. and my mom. =D That would be fun. I'm slowly learning to drive a stick.. (our new car is a stick). And J has lost his wallet. This makes the car situation an interesting one, seeing as how I can't drive our car; it's made our car pretty much useless unless in use by others for the past couple of days. So this experience of searching for his wallet begs the question, if YOU were a wallet, where would YOU hide? and Are wallets like gnomes - do they travel the world and take pictures of themselves? or Are they more like socks, they just disappear into the Void? I'd like to think they're like gnomes, myself. And that we'll get a picture in the mail of his wallet in front of the Eiffel Tower next week - with all the money, credit cards, and his license still inside.
In other news, i'm about to start my VERY LAST semester of Massage School yay! Just 2 more months and then I'll be making some money, and we can be independent. huzzah!

Show me the Car Fox!
Yes, that is correct, we have ferretted out the car for us. Thanks to the sleuthing abilities of J + Creig's List. Friday we drove all over Colorado looking at various Honda Civics; then, at the end of the day, just as we were settling for a car that needed a new muffler, Dad Quillen told us there was a guy in the next neighborhood over who was selling his Honda Accord at his garage sale- a car very similar to our old car in Hawaii - for 2000. We checked it out, test drove it, and purchased it. Thank goodness for Dad and garage sale-ing! We get the car Tuesday, and in between now and then we'll take a look at the car's history - the car facts.

Yea, even babes did open their mouths and utter marvelous things
So we were in church today, and there was a family sitting in the row ahead of us. They had an 11-year-old boy who was sitting on the bench, half laying down. His head had been on his dad's knee, but then migrated to the bench. About half way into the sacrament meeting, a little one-and -a-half-year-old boy two rows in front of us (the row in front of the laying-down boy) turned around. He saw the 11-year-old, furrowed his brow, and in a very shocked, appalled, and cute little boy voice, said, "Sit up." He said it in a tone that said, "are you seriously laying down?" Immediately the 11-year-old sat straight up and stayed that way the rest of the sacrament.
Awesome! lol we had a good laugh when we heard that.
