Do-oo?

Korrali loves to go outside - she says it both in English (ous-eye?) and French (do-oo?) French is dehors (day-or), for those like me and not actually savvy on the lingo.
She frequently grabs the sunscreen and brings it to me, yelling "Do-oo! Do-oo! Pay (play) Pay! Seen! (Sunscreen) Sue! Sue! (shoes)". I guess she got tired of me saying "not right now.. it's nap time/lunch time/dinner time/ in a few minutes.. " because one day I heard some weird shuffling.. and she was wearing my outside shoes. She wore them all around the house, and has worn them frequently since.

This is one of those other times.. can you see the concentration on her face to keep those huge shoes on her feet while walking? It was right after dinner and before bed when she wanted to go outside. I was too slow, so she put on my shoes, and went to the door and pointed at the handle. "pay??!!"

Gotta love that little persistent and bright spirit! Give her a kiss for me.

Isn't it amazing how they get their point across! What a smart little linguist you have!

I like how she puts on YOUR shoes and not hers when she wants to go out. Maybe they are easier to put on? Ali and Logan were that way too when they were her age, always wanting to go out.
