SNOW!

My First Snow Storm!

Yesterday there was a storm-warning - the Denver-Metro area was forecast to receive 18 inches of snow. So, the entire area canceled school - including my massage therapy school. We didn't get quite that much snow, but it was still really neat to see it snow all day and through the night. I took a few pictures to illustrate

This morning it finished, but school was canceled again for everyone. J is already on spring break, and he was a little bitter that everyone got a snow day because apparently he went to school uphill in the snow both ways when he was a kid. ^_^

Since this was my first experience with that kind of snow, I had to go outside today and build a snowman. Isn't he cute? His mouth kept falling off, you can see it there at his feet, but that's ok. Everyone is special in their own way. ^_^ So, Happy Spring Break Snow Storm!

PS. Does anyone know how to display a tapa cloth?

i'm so sorry, i totally forgot to email you about it. um the tapa that my parents were given at my wedding, they have framed some, others you can just pin them up on the wall, or if you have a glass table top, you can put them under the glass top, that looks really cool. but you want to keep it out of sunlight so that it wont fade.

I miss that kind of snow. We didn't get very much here this year. I do have to agree with JD on the snow day thing, although, I don't quite remember walking to school. I do remmeber that we never had a single snow day all 4 years that I went to school there. I love the snowman too! Very fun!
